Patrick Bourne & Co. specialise in privately handling British Art, guiding individuals and families on dispersals and acquisitions.

Located in an 18th century townhouse in the heart of London’s St James’s, we offer clients the opportunity to discuss and view pictures in quiet and comfortable surroundings. Our approach is personal and discreet and our advice is rooted in both academic knowledge and a close awareness of the art market.

Patrick Bourne is a leading British Art specialist with decades of market experience. He founded Bourne Fine Art in Edinburgh in 1978, dealing in Scottish Art, and became managing director of The Fine Art Society, London in 2003 when the galleries merged.
Together with his wife Cordelia Bourne, he resigned from The Fine Art Society companies in 2014 to found Patrick Bourne & Co.

Patrick is a past Chairman of the Society of London Art Dealers (SLAD). SLAD represents Fine Art Dealers throughout the United Kingdom. He remains on the Committee as a Special Adviser.

Fine Art Agents, Dealers and Advisors specialising in 18th, 19th and 20th Century British paintings and sculpture. Patrick Bourne & Co was established in 2014 by Patrick and Cordelia Bourne. We work closely with private individuals, families and companies with both existing and fledgling art collections. We advise on buying, selling, maintenance and insurance. The art market is enjoyable and intelligible with the right advice but can be opaque and fraught with danger for the newcomer. We make sure that our clients are informed before making purchases, and we guide sellers towards the best channels for their disposals taking into account their individual requirements. Patrick Bourne has been dealing in British Art for over 35 years and is a past Chairman of The Society of London Art Dealers. Cordelia Bourne has also worked in the commercial art world for 10 years, specialising in British Modern Art.
